Our Piper Lance has a 7th seat option (has both a 7th seat and a refreshment cooler that can swap - neither is mounted right now.) The mounting arrangement is a short set of slotted tracks. Looks like it slides into place from back to front. Is there supposed to be some type of retainer?
Depending on the year, it could be:
a) Too flat slide in feet and two pointy feet that drop into some locking holes (like the other seats, or
b) 4 flat slide in feet where two of the slots have pins that pop up and keep the slide in feet in place.
It should match your other seats.

It looks like it is the 4 flat feet w/2 pins version. So it just slides in and those two little pins pop back up to hold it in place? Doesn't seem like much holding strength, but I guess you're not exactly bracing for a rear end collision.
