I bought a pair of saratoga fixed gear (fully enclosed oleos) wheel pants for my 1970 six. My A/P is saying I cannot put them on because they werent original.

He said the upper strut connection required a wing bracket/brace and said these are a no go.

Is there any way around this? Im bummed now.

Thanks Jim. I called Art and his is experimental, but he gave me some tips. Looks like Im going to need to go to the local FSDO and do some paperwork to get it through.
