I need to find out how to contact Madras Air Service to try and get a copy of their Deemer Super Tips STC#SA549NW. I understand they are no longer in business. Any ideas???

I have the original wing tips, however, the Madras are installed now and we are trying to finish the annual. No STC or 337 was ever done for the tips. I've checked with FAA records. The Madras tips have a nice paint job and the original ones don't. Plus, I like the tips. Any ideas on how to get a copy of the STC?

Normally you can get a copy off the FAA website.. I looked and this one isn't available which usually means the FAA is holding it.

You might get a copy of the STC but I don't think you'll get a permission statement unless the ACO can issue one

For $675 you can get a brand new pair of Hoerner-style wingtips from Met-Co-Aire, which actually work and improve performance, and look good too.

I'd make a few phone calls before you give up on them. The tips do help and you've already got them :)

My Tomahawks fuel indicators drop approximately 50% when flying at night with a normal load. Voltage is 14 pulling 25 to 30 amps. Any thought?
