Does anybody have flight profiles - i.e. Pitch, Power, and Airspeed Combinations for the Seneca III in various configurations (ILS, Non-precision, climb, descent, etc.)
I have a Seneca III, and am IFR rated. Settings for the ILS and non-precision approaches: Typically 22"/25-2600 rpm, drop the gear at one dot above GP intercept, or FAF, should give you 110 kts down the glidepath without much change.Bleed MP off inside the FAF on the 'downslope', 100kts. 'over the fence', usually no flaps, because most ILS/BC approaches have longer runways...one less thing to remember (or forget) on go-around!
I use 25"/2400 for holding...no hurry, so might save fuel!!
Climb is 'cruise-climb' 33"/2500, 120 KTAS, 800-1000fpm.
Descent is simply maintain cruise MP (requires a slight reduction in descent, to maintain), unless turbulence. Try for 500FPM, if ATC permits. David- Seneca C-FJMM
