I fly a Seneca II and I have a hell of a time checking the air in the mains -- the hub covers are in the way of the stem, and the gear doors are always in the way of the hub covers. You need the world's stubbiest screwdriver to get at the hubcovers behind the gear doors.
I saw in some catalog, somewhere, "hubcaps" (for lack of a better word) approved for the Seneca et al, with a tiny hatch for accessing the stem. Can anyone tell where these can be found?!
I happen to have a set of those caps in my shop that a customer ordered and never picked up. They are made by LoPresti and have an air valve "hatch" secured by a small camlock fastener. They are approved for the PA-34 among others. Email me for pix if interested, will make a helluva deal.
