How do these rear seats come out? While reaching in from the baggage door, I tried lifting the rear end of the seat, but they didn't just pop out as I have been told they should. It looks like once the rear is out, the seats need to slide rearward in order to free the front. That seems to be opposite to the 1973 Challenger.
Can anyone provide specific instructions for removing seats in a 1972 180G?
Don't they have the large screws behind each of the rear set legs, that you rotate 90 degrees to spread the springs that hold the rear legs in place? Once you turn the screws to spread the springs, the rear legs lift out and then you slide the front legs aftward to clear the front retainers.

No screws. It just took a good yank. I entered through the cockpit door, leaned the rear seat back forward, grabbed the rear base of the seat and gave a good yank. The rear of the seat popped out of their holes. Then, from the baggage door, simply slide the seat rearward and the seat was free.
I didn't see any spreading screws. Just two holes in a base plate. It is some form of spring loaded thing. In fact, there is a repetative AD related to the tension required to remove seats.
