Does anyone have any input on rpm lose after venturi AD 67 cherokee 140 150hp. I have lost 200 static rpm's since A.D. had Art matsons prop mod done and added power flow exaust but only recovered about 50 rpms..... considering undoing AD and doing the 100 hr inspect... any advice
Don, are you using the pepperbox version of the one-piece? Alternatively, did you clean up the casting flashing on the original version of the one-piece?
Personally, I retained the two-piece and do the recurring inspection.

Thanks for the info, The AD was done years ago the previous owners says it was never right agter the AD. The carb was rejetted about a month after the AD,did'nt help.... I am researching the carb now...

Don, if it doesn't have the pepperbox, consider installing one (cost is several hundred dollars), or reinstalling the two-piece and doing the recurring inspection. I would hope you still have your two-piece.
