I need to identify a Piper stabilator labeled p/n 38400-900, s/n 7885C18, believed to have come from a Cherokee 140. I need to know which aircraft models this stabilator will fit, so I can find it a good home. It is in very good serviceable condition (sans trim tab) and I will make someone a good deal if they have a need for it, otherwise it becomes a set of wings for my Grandson's playground "airplane" I'm building.
Thanks for the response guys (I received several e-mails and inquiries). It appears that what I have is in fact a stabilator for a "T-tail", a Piper Lance.
