My partner is being transferred so we are forced to sell our plane. This is a beautiful 1964 Cherokee 235 with a 1440 useful load! Cruise at 150 mph (131 kts). This baby has a VREF value of $64,000 and is well equipped. It also looks great on the ramp -- we get compliments all the time! Take a look: [www.austine.com]. Here are the specs:

This is a very clean plane.
While we rated the outside at 7.0, it really looks much better than that-- we frequently get compliments ("nice looking Cherokee. Did you just get it painted?") It is only when you get very close that you can see touch-ups etc. The inside is very clean. We just replaced the front seats with seats from a newer Cherokee. They are much more comfortable and adjust better.
We put a "new" rebuilt governor a little less than a year ago (the old one was fine, but it had a very minor drip. When they tried to reseal it, it made it worse, so we replaced it. The fuel control valve was also replaced about a year ago with a more modern rebuild one. The very early fuel valves cannot be rebuilt and were subject to an AD. This one is perfect.
We have all logs. Also complete Piper Service and Parts manuals. All ADs complied with. The annual is due in August. We did the last annual in liu of a pre-purchase inspection as it is much more comprehensive.
We are looking for a good used Cherokee (serious cash buyer). Your plane is interesting, however our advisors tell us that the price window is somewhat lower than what you have yours listed for. Before we get involved in details regarding particulars of this plane, are you willing to consider a price around $50K?
Vref shows $33,500 with 4500TT.
