I would appreciate a recommendation for replacement plugs for my 1978 Warrior 161 with the Lycoming O-320-D3G/4300 Mags.
I think I found the correct replacement harnss from Skytronics (SKYT A30-5AS-II). I would like to change the plugs as well. Should I just stick with Champion conventional electrode, or consider an newer type? Your insight would be appreciated.
I think I'm sold on Autolite/Unison plugs at this point also. One thing You can see right away is the length of the autolites is shorter, that doesn't crowd the wires against the baffles as it exits the plug. That's a good thing.
Switch to Autolite UREM37BY plugs. These plugs have an elonged nose that does not foul. Same price as other massive electrode plugs. I have been runnning them in my 78 Warrior for about 3 years. Work great.
