Today I was all excited to fire up the bird and do some actual IFR approaches, but when I went to hit the starter, it just clicked......battery is fully charged on my battery minder trickle charge...any ideas?
You're hearing the starter relay "click" but the starter itself isn't getting enough power to turn. The relay contacts may be burned out. That's an easy fix - replace the relay. But your problem could be due to other failures in the circuit instead so make sure your A&P verifies this with a voltmeter before you start replacing parts.
