Our 1974 Archer needs some interior upgrades, the louvered overhead air vents need replaced, the plastic back of the front seats is cracking and breaking on top and where the seat track release levers are located. The seats and carpet are also showing wear. Is there somewhere we can go for these parts? Any suggestions on inexpensive repairs?

I HAVE A 1979 PIPER THAT I'M TRYING TO GET THE SEATS OUT OF AND CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW. THE BACK SEATS ARE THE ONES GIVING ME TROUBLE. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME ?

first unselect the cap lock button on the keyboard.

then tell us what model of Piper you have as they have different seats and different methods of removing them.

I have a 1979 piper archer and had the same problem...none of then mechanical jocks could tell me how to get the back seats out...I finally found (by myself) that my seats come out really simply...They slide to the rear and come out easily after pressing the pins or detents that stick up from the floor right behind the rear seat legs...There's one pin behind each of the rear seat legs...Pressing down with a screwdriver does the trick..Good luck..

Just completed installation of carpet, side panels, and new insulation on my 1979 piper archer...All parts received from Airtex..They have all the templates and will make everything to factory specs., only minor trimming and fitting required. On line search should give you all the info you'll need...Good luck with new panels.....Ron
