I have installed Metco wing tips on my PA-28R. The fit is good with the exception of some slight puckers between the attaching screws (tip is slightly raised off the wing surface). I have seen PA-28's on ramps with a lace material between the wing and Metco wing tip. It's my openion that this lace will eliminate these puckers and I'm looking for the material and source.

Piper has a Stiffner-Wing Tip released P/N 62090-20, -22, -21 & -23 but they have it listed @ 500.00 per side.

If someone knows of a good material and supplier for this Lace/stiffner it will be greatly appreciated.
