I would like recommendations for a CFI in the Phoenix area that has the following qualifications (mandated by my insurance co):
750 hours total time
250 hours retract
25 hours in make and model
My insurance company is requiring 15 hours dual and then 5 hours solo before I can use my new ride.
Too bad you don't live a little closer - *I* have those qualifications (plus just a wee bit more - 3300TT and something like 250-300 in type), plus an initial transition course given at the factory and a refresher done just a couple years ago.
Yes - too bad. I'm still having a tough time lining up a CFI. Three days have elapsed since I took posession and all I can do is sit in the cockpit and make flying sounds... :)
I think it's an AOL forum, but in the search I just did for it I couldn't find it.
I had a client with a PA32, and he used to read the posts there all the time.
If I manage to locate it, I'll post the address here.
Another contact for you, though, would be to call Cutter Aviation in Phoenix and ask for Larry Johnson's number in Dallas. Larry is the regional sales guy for Piper and might know who in the area can train in a 'Toga.
In response to your post, I have 1500 hours in a 96 Sarratoga retract non turbo. CFII with 4500 plus total time. Seeking Temp work.. Pat Colligan 302 344 2728.
