Contact Glenn Juber from Danielson, CT. He flies a B model Twinco and a Geronimo Apache. He can do transition training in your plane and pre-buy work as well. He did a pre-buy for me a few years ago and is very thorough. Then we checked out in the plane to bring it home. He is an A&P/CFI with lots of Comanche, Apache, and Aztec experience. I think the email is newcenturyaviation@ct.metrocast.net. If that doesn't work you will find him at flightlevel aviation in Norwood, MA. www.flightlevelaviation.com
HI, I AM IN OCALA FLORIDA AND I NEED ABOUT 3 TO 5 HOURS IN MY TWIN COMANCHE. THE TIME CAN BE IN MY A/C OR YOURS. I HAVE COME OUT OF A CESSNA 310 AND I JUST NEED TO BE MADE TO FEEL COMFORTABLE AND SAFE. PLEASE CALL 352 237-8377 OR EMAIL JMEARS7@CFL.RR.COM. THANKS JIM
I have flown PA30's for 25 years, usually averaging over 300 hrs per year around the Southeast. I had one engine shutdown in flight, many years ago, when an oil line gave way. Other that that, the TC has delivered us safely and swiftly to our destinations (well, sometimes we divert for weather).
Although I am not a CFI, I have over 4000 hours in type and have studied the TC in depth.
I would be happy to answer any questions you have about the TC, or to point you in the direction of a CFI.
