Just flew to columbia airport and did a little camping. It was great. The campground is one of the best I have been to. right off the 2400 ft grass strip where tail draggers come in for picnics and such. Scenery is beautiful camping is 8 bucks a nite. Free hot showers. The town is hurting right now so a lot of restaurants are closed but there is a great mexican place about a 3/4 mile walk into town. You could hike down to the lake but it would be a couple miles and down a long trail. Hope to see you all there soon. Someone should organize a cherokee fly in there sometime.
