Anyone familiar with the Kalispell area, or the Glacier NP area? (S27 or GPI) I'm looking to fly up there to visit family in the near future - looks to be a daunting valley to get into!
Would appreciate anyone familiar with advice on how to get there from the East/South.

I LIVE KALISPELL MT. DON'T WORRY ABOUT FLYING INTO HERE IT IS A VERY LARGE VALLEY AND IS GREAT PLACE TO FLY. GPI WILL TREAT YOU RIGHT. I GUESS THE WEATHER CAN BE A BIT INTERESTING AT TIMES. THE MOUNTAINS JUST TO THE EAST ARE HIGH BUT THR VALLEY WILL ALLOW A LET DOWN FROM THE SOUTH THER IS NO PROBLEM. IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR AREA JUST ASK I'D LOVE TO HELP
Rob --
Flying into Kalispell is cake, I live just 50 miles away and have been in there lots of times. I agree with the other post, Glacier Park International is the better airport for the first time, lots bigger. Also, coming in from the south over Flathead Lake is the best, Lots of room, Lots of beautifull country to look at: lake, mountains, park, etc.
Enjoy.
